Robin L. Woods

Presidentpresident@summerhillpgh.org

My name is Robin Woods. I am a native Northside resident and have lived in Summer Hill since May 1993.

I have actively advocated for our community throughout my time here, including 15 years of involvement with the Summer Hill Citizens Committee (SHCC). Last fall, the former SHCC president asked me to lead our neighborhood's opposition to a proposed 27-townhome development along the tree-lined area on Colby Street. Following the former president's resignation on January 1, 2026, I stepped up to lead the committee.

Following strong opposition from Summer Hill residents and several community organizations, the developer withdrew the proposal to build 27 townhomes. The area has now been officially designated as a permanent green space.
